Applications are open for the Tecnimede Open Innovation Competition, an initiative from the Tecnimede Group developed in collaboration with HiSeedTech, to identify and support breakthrough innovations in pharmaceutical technologies.
The Competition aims to recognise and support transformative solutions in Pharmaceutical Technology, including innovations that meaningfully improve the development, design, manufacturing or delivery of pharmaceutical drugs and medications.
At the centre of the Competition is the Jorge Ruas Award, a prestigious €100k prize created in honour of one of Tecnimede’s founders. The Award supports innovators developing high-impact pharmaceutical technologies and reinforces Tecnimede’s mission to foster scientific and industrial progress.
The call welcomes applications from researchers, startups and pharmaceutical companies developing projects between TRL 3 and TRL 7 that demonstrate:
- Alignment with the Competition’s focus on advancing Pharmaceutical Technology
- Strong scientific and technological foundations
- Clear potential for clinical or market impact
- A robust intellectual property and regulatory strategy
